Pursuant to a contract No. 62/2012-8.2 for the National Administrator of allowances in the Slovak Republic concluded between the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic as the competent authority in EU ETS matters and company of ICZ Slovakia a. s., which entered into force on October 27, 2012, the company of ICZ Slovakia acts as the National Administrator of allowances from January 1, 2013.

The single Union Registry was fully activated in June 2012. In Union Registry, the National Administrator opens an operator holding account for each installation with permission from the competent authority, an aircraft operator holding account on instruction from the competent authority, a verifier account for an entity who is accredited as a verifier and a person holding account and a trading account on request of natural or legal person.
